Beans in winter

Warm yourself up this winter with red bean soup made from scratch.

In the January class at Wagashi Issho, participants will start the year at the beginning: by learning to make the red and white bean pastes used to fill many traditional Japanese sweets.

The lesson will also feature zenzai – a red bean soup dessert that may just help you to get through winter and safely to spring.
