Japanese Sweets Salon Issho

English wagashi classes: Sweets for spring

The days are still cold but spring is definitely on the way. In anticipation of warmer days, the theme of spring sweets continues at Wagashi Issho.

Students will learn in March to make a sweet that evokes a peach tree in full bloom. April’s offering is a delicate pink confection that can be interpreted as a sakura bud or a single cherry blossom petal.
